Today kicks off Earth Month, and the start of the Pledge for the Planet Challenge at Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC). For the third year in a row, the Pledge for the Planet Challenge will encourage employees from across the company to share a pledge for how they will be more environmentally friendly at home or at work during the month of April. Common pledges include collecting litter individually or organizing a litter pickup event as a team, eating plant-based meals, switching to reusable or refillable items, and more.
This is just one small part of our ESG initiatives, but it’s an important reminder of the impact that our individual and collective actions can have on the environment.
